This is the first in the series of Stork. The teenage daughter of divorced parents move her out of California to Minnesota with her grandfather. Her name is Katla, her nickname Kat and is of the Icelandic descent. She soon finds out that there are family secrets, lost memory, and secret ability. She is drawn to a group of women to deliver souls to pregnant women called the "Storks". It has romance, high school drama, nature-inspired magic, and a great story!
I loved this book. This was also inspired by Norse mythology which makes it even more interesting. There is a sequel coming out in fall 2011!!
